SHERLOCK HOLMES, HIS MOST FAMOUS BOOK

History
It is a fictional detective created by Scottish author and physician Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
A London-based "consulting detective" whose abilities bordered on the fantastic,
Holmes is famous for his keen logical reasoning, his ability to adopt almost any disguise,
and his use of forensic science skills to solve difficult cases.
Holmes, who first appeared published in 1887, was featured in four novels and
56 short stories. The first novel, A Study in Scarlet, appeared in Beeton's Christmas Annual
in 1887 and the second, The Sign of the Four, in Lippincott's Monthly Magazine in 1890.
The character grew tremendously in popularity with the first series of short stories
in The Strand Magazine, beginning with "A Scandal in Bohemia" in 1891; further series
of short stories and two novels published in row appeared in 1927. The stories covered a period from 1880 to 1914.

Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle, died in July 7th 1930 in Crowboroug.
He died from a heart attack at the age of 71. His last words were directed toward his wife: "You are wonderful."

GENERAL ASPECTS OF HIS LIFE

He had a great friendship with James Matthew Barrie.
He married Louise Hawkins and had two children. He was single for a year and then he married Jean Leckie, she was his platonic love and their relationship had three children.

Then he went to London and continued writing his stories,one day he wrote to his mother telling her he wanted to kill Sherlock Holmes and his famous enemy professor Moriarty but this would have deteriorated the story.
Then Doyle had to resurrect these characters by the pressure of the readers.
The work by Arthur Conan Doyle's novels polices organized, stories and anticipation, works of horror stories and others.

He was diagnosed with angina pectoris, left for his tour psychic, buthe was with the pain. Bedridden, he managed to have one lastadventure, in one day he rose from his bed, and went into the garden. When they found him lying on the ground, one hand was grasping the heart and the other was holding a single white bell.
His last words before leaving were "the greatest adventure and most glorious of all"
Died on July 7, 1930, with 71 years of a heart attack (England). A statue of him was placed at the town where he lived for 23 years. He was buried in the churchyard of Minsteadin the New Forest, Hampshire.
