J R R Tolkien


J R R Tolkien (Jhon Ronald Reuel Tolkien) born on january 3th, 1892 in Bloemfontein and died on september 2th, 1973 at age of 81 in Bournemouth.

 

 

 

 

 

After living in South Africa and the death of his father moved to England, was a participant in the First World War. He was a writer, poet, philologist and professor of anglo-saxon language and English literature at Oxford University, be known before the public some trials where you see your first contact with the fantastic and beings created by your imagination

He is known for write the fantasys novels The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Ring, so for that he is known as the father of modern fantasy literature.
